The Elizade Resort and Golf Club, located on a 106 hectares site, is an African lodge-style resort and world class golf course. The Resort offers authentic African-inspired architecture which offers expansive views of the breathtaking natural landscape and golf course.

The Concept Phase began with researching indigenous African materials, patterns and colors!

After sorting out the plethora of research, the fun began...

Applying the patterns and materials to the interior design takes off by itself! Painted wall shapes, carved screens, clay beaded chandeliers and multicolored beads begin to shape the spaces...Floor patterns shout loudly their proud heritage.

Specialty lighting is carefully designed to give authenticity to the spaces along with local area wood carvings, sculptures, metal-work and even animal skins are utilized to continue the 'feast for the eyes' as guests enjoy a level of detail not common or found in this corner of the world.

As the design becomes more defined and refined, carpet is nixed in favor of cork flooring and tile, chosen for their durability in the harsh environment of Nigeria and their ability to create endless floor patterns. Furniture is selected and designed to support the contemporary African ambiance, rich in hand made crafts and color.
